DU always seems to crawl and sometimes to a halt around 3am

I was just wondering if other DUers experience the same thing.

1. Yes, it seems to be always at 3am CT, and lasts for around five minutes or so. n/t

2. I believe they back up the database at that time...

at 4AM EST. It always slows things down for a bit.

3. Yes it happens to me but at about 1:00 am very slow, I'm in CA. Also often a sign comes up

telling me my "attempt to post a response was unsuccessful" but yet I will find that the reply was posted.

I assume it's system maintenance or alike. I just skip over to FB for a bit and when I return all is well.
