Tanker cars have been moving on the rails in the area for the past few years. I think they may contain liquids relating to the oil and gas industry.

I do not see confirmation that tanker cars are burning. One Facebook poster states that the substance which is burning is vinyl chloride, which exists as a gas in normal conditions.

As someone pointed out, the temperature is in the single digits. Firefighters from departments throughout the area are responding.
