(23,317 posts)that I've spent on Lego's for my kiddo. My favorite hours of mama-hood are when I'm making dinner and my son is creating with Lego's while we listen to his music playlist....he's 17 now and a senior in high school and we still have these moments together. I treasure them and you could say because of this, I'm emotionally connected to the brand.

(16,927 posts)He 'survived' all of his 'growing years' and you did too! Special kudos to you for bending, flexing, stacking, and doing whatever it took to keep the connection going!

(3,503 posts)Very imaginative, too.
He has graduated from the larger Legos to the regular size. He has been playing with them on our oriental rug, and now, with the regular size, we can never tell when there's a couple of pieces still on the rug (until we walk on them in our stocking feet)! We'll have to put something over our rug from now on!

(21,153 posts)My 30 year old son with autism still loves his legos. At Christmas we splurge for an expensive one but he gets cheap ones during the years.
I see legos in classrooms I substitute in and during free choice I love seeing the creativity of the students.
