I recognize the sometimes repeating a short phrase. And as someone who had a slight stutter as a child, the rush to finish a sentence while the words were flowing smoothly.

This one went SO much better than most of us expected it to - what with the pending debt ceiling and all.

Then Sara Huckabee Sanders gave her speech from her alternative universe.

And appearing as though he wanted to be ANYWHERE but there. He looked like his mind was a thousand miles away. We're all over here, Kev. What planet did you head off to?

He never got the memo that that stunt went out over 10 years ago, when the public began widely noticing and ridiculing it on social media (as they should).

It looked like he was having a pain in his ass.

You just move through it and keep on going!

What I always reminded myself when I was on the air: you fumfer the script? Just move on! Keep reading as though nothing happened. They'll forget, because you've moved onto the next thing and you've taken them along with you. Cuz most of 'em won't be listening as closely as your boss does.

He gives off a sort of 'awww shucks' vibe and people let down their guard. Then he moves in with a 'swoosh' and leaves everyone looking around like what happened? I love it. ❤️

I did Toastmasters for a couple years. I’m terrified of speaking but at my last job I had to present to executives of the big hospital system I worked it. It was magnified by my anxiety and PTSD from the military. I’m sure I stumbled a few times. More than a few times. But I always tried to be accurate and factual. In my heart I know President Biden was being one of us. A loyal American who has our countries best interests at heart. The fact he had a few stumbles just makes him more human in my book. Not like that last guy in office, the professional grifter ready to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge and smile while he’d pick my pocket.

He never stops thinking, and I bet between keeping all the options in mind and speaking, it's like driving on an 8 lane highway during rush hour. But he sticks to the point, is unabashed, and sharp as a tack.

On the other hand, r's are dumber than a bag of hammers.
