...yes, I admit it: I *was* worried about it. A little. He'll be 82 next year. Of course you have to be concerned about a presidential term ending with an incumbent who's 86. But there he was tonight, exactly the same old Joe he's been for 50 years. Sharp, masterful. At times, maybe--maybe--you could see the man who's had a stutter issue. But that's nothing new. Biden is one of these lean old guys who go on forever. The man I saw tonight is utterly capable of another term as President, and he's the man the party and the nation need. Unless a major health issue crops up, let 'er rip...

(15,771 posts)My dad is 89 and in decline. What I saw with Joe tonight was him getting excited and having his stutter stuff break through. I have always been a Bernie person but the age factor has bothered me too for a few years.

Biden showed tonight that he is strong and capable. Gave some great and witty spontaneous responses during a fantastic speech.
