Following a SOTU that made R's look like clowns, Sarah Sanders dons rubber nose & floppy shoes

After MTG acting like a complete fool, Sanders decides to give a tutorial on "Wokeness" and all that goes with it.

I'll give Republicans credit, they really know how to take the temperature of the room.

2. The big irony for me...

...is that the entire SOTU was an amplification of "REPUBLICANS HAVE NO IDEAS"...and she followed it up with a go-nowhere smiley rant that confirmed it.

4. I sure don't think she convinced anybody.

I watched her whole "rebuttal". It was just a litany of stale cliches from Fox News talking heads and right-wing radio jocks. I imagine hard-core Deplorables were nodding right along and saying yup yup yup, but I sure don't think she convinced anyone else.

A couple of times she veered off on long-winded stories that seemed to go nowhere and could have been summed up in a sentence instead. The first one amounted to, "We've beaten the odds against cancer in my family", and the second was basically, "I went with President Trump to visit combat troops, and they were really happy we came." Both of those things are nice, but neither was a rebuttal of any thing Biden had said.

5. While I watched Sarah, II kept saying, "Did she watch a different speech than I did?"

She did the most unrelated follow-up speech I ever heard. Other than sayig Joe is crazy several times, there was o connection to the STOTU that I heard.

And, judging by what I'm seeing in social media, they're gorging on her shit sandwich as if it was lobster and Waygu beef.
