Sen. Chris Murphy (CT) tweet about the hecklers:

If it felt uncomfortable to watch on TV as a bunch of Members of Congress act like blind drunk hecklers at a basement comedy show, it felt 10x creepier in the chamber.

What a disgrace. What a terrible example for our kids

1. They were worse than drunk comedy show hecklers. They were liars.

As Biden spoke the truth, they called him a liar. They can't handle the truth, and want to deprive America of it. Comedy show hecklers just think they're funnier than the stand-up, they aren't trying to gaslight America.

He's the "Junior" Senator in technicality only. Definitely one to know.

Hes one of the brightest people in the senate just based on listening to him speak on issues through the years.

They shout out "yeas" and "nays" and "hear, hear" during sessions. When they have a turn to speak individually, they don't hesitate to be blunt, sarcastic, and brutal in their comments.

Not sure that they would heckle the Prime Minister during a formal speech, though.

Because that's what howler monkeys do. Luckily, the Feces-Throwing Caucus never caught on.
