Has anyone found an article explaining the big Civil Rights moment that Sarah Huckabee Sanders

was talking about in her rebuttal last night?

Because, it sounds like another tone-deaf moment. The black American she was talking about may have done great things, but I don't remember hearing the details of what that involved. Just that he, or his statue, made it into a government building. And I was left with a feeling that something was missing. It was like she was commemorating the fact that white people in Arkansas ALLOWED a black person or statue IN a government building. And that is what constitutes an accomplishment worthy of a commemoration for Republicans in Arkansas.

It really had nothing to do with what Pres Biden actually said, just the usual cavalcade of RW talking points and culture war barbs.

They wind up damaging the person talking and the cause. I don't know who thinks these performances are doing any good.
