After Special Council Jack Smith indicts Тяцмp for his Plan A

which was to kill Mike Pence & Nancy Pelosi and then declare Martial law, allowing him to crown himself king
I guess. Will he then go after everyone who aided & abetted Тяцмp's Plan B?

Plan B as you'll recall was to reject several swing States Electoral College votes requiring a special run off election
that was tilted in Тяцмp's favor.

There were over 130 House reQublicans who voted to not certify certain States Electoral Votes, an unheard of
practice. I firmly believe that's aiding and abetting the head coup leader Тяцмp in his attempt to remain in power.

I'm thinking we should start a write/email campaign to the Honorable Jack Smith with our reasons why we believe
certain House members broke the law late night on Jan. 6th 2021 and that they should be held accountable for
their actions as no one is supposed to be above the LAW.

Myself I'll be pointing out that they appear to have Fascist tendencies and unless we send a clear message that
overthrowing the Government is unacceptable, they'll try it again.

If the Honorable Jack Smith does charge them en masse with something we could be looking at the largest
Blue Wave ever come 2024. Let's nudge him in that direction.

Anyone know his mailing or email address?

The one who should be is Scott Perry. He had his phone seized last August but as of yet the feds have not gotten permission to access it.

Pete Strzok said it may take a year to get into his phone.

The Iowa caucus is Jan. 23rd, 2024, 60 days grace prior leaves DOJ less than 10 months to indict Trump and his inner circle.

You keep repeating that falsehood and spreading misinformation.

In late August 2018, DOJ indicted a sitting congressman barely 60 days before the midterms.

So just idle speculation at this point. Will there be? None yet.

Biden hasn't formally announced his plan to run, but it is past the time most potus's do. It is clear the election season has started, and primaries on the gop side are becoming heated even though there are only a couple of declared candidates.

As soon as the race is firmly underway in a pitched set of battles, the doj will not want to indict per policy on gop candidates.

Or they will indict biden for something. Hard to say.

But the window is closing fast and still no movement.

Not saying there won't be any. But there hasn't been up till now - and yes, I'm talking about tfg and his senior staff not including contempt charges.

Which is as it should be.

Both your definitions of plans “A” and “B” are inaccurate, and there is no evidence to support them.

Trump’s actual plans were:

A: halt the certification of swing states for Biden, or convince officials to certify him as the winner
B: if that failed, submit false slates of Trump electors in the hopes that either state legislatures or congress would intervene;
C: if that failed, convince Mike Pence to halt/delay counting of the electoral votes, possibly triggering a Contingent Election, where house delegations would select him as president;
D: if that failed, incite insurrectionists to violence to disrupt the official proceeding in the hopes that it would somehow allow Trump to remain in office.

Besides the hundreds of insurrectionists involved in plan D, dozens of co-conspirators were also involved in plans A,B & C. Some of them were/are sitting members of congress. One of the congressional ringleaders, Scott Perry, has obtained an injunction halting DOJ’s attempts to access his devices (they’ve been trying for something like six months since seizing them).

It’s going to be awhile before hear the other shoe drop regarding Trump’s accomplices in congress. I think Eastman, Meadows, Clark and those involved with fraudulent electors are more likely to be indicted before any involved congresscritters,

I was just being brief, still believe it'll come out Тяцмp wanted Pence & Pelosi silenced, he hated both and
has a history of destroying people who he thinks done him wrong.

That decision should come shortly. She has made her intentions clear. If that happens the debates on whether Garland , Smith, anyone, will indict the coup plotters will come crashing down. The entire conversation will change. If Willis indicts it would be hard to say Garland will not ever indict any of the top people.

the U.S. is going to be so much worse off if no one touches the Congress critters who were involved. And we're going to be hurt if Trump isn't indicted. Both will show absolutely there are two tiers (at least) of the Law. It's pretty obvious now, and is spoken of around here quite often. We put in the same category of the "Two Americas" slogan.

But letting these traitors off (using the vernacular), is going to embolden that whole side of the crazy, while it demoralizes most of us who are trying to get back to some semblance of "normal." It's not going to do our democracy any good. IMO, it'd be much better to take the chance of a right wing civil war and work to destroy that, than to show these criminals that they're too good for the law. But, like I said, that's only my opinion. YMMV, and probably will. I've always been on the outside of most issues.

thankfully the snow was only about an inch here, and very wet snowpack. Great for snowballs and snowmen. Wanna snowball fight? I might be able to the broad side of a barn these days (LOL).

I went up & down everybody's sidewalks on our block. There's still big piles of snow around town.
