Etiquette when given hearts.

I am not really sure how or when to respond when I receive a heart from an anonymous source. I am very grateful and humbled when they present on but not sure if I should respond to each one or wait until the end of the day. Is there proper or long standing etiquette to guide us?

Thank you to those who have already sent hearts.

Also, I amended my original thank you post to include those received after the first one. Again. I am SO grateful to those who anonymously sent me hearts. It brightened my day and made me feel so welcomed here. ❤️❤️❤️ To you!!! 😊

Although it is nice to either start a "thanks for hearts" thread or to join in on one....givers get pleasure in the giving, not the gratitude. (At least from my experience)

Some people don't like all the the thank you posts cluttering up things.
Others really like to see the thank you posts and people like posting them.

I think people should do what they want.

But yes piggybacking on other thank you posts is an idea.

But I have a whole lot more hearts added since then so I'll probably start a thread at some point.

But until then, thank you to all who gave me hearts, I cherish every single one!

on.. I've never made an OP thanking the anonymous heart givers but I have in past years posted my Thanks & Gratitude on threads already in motion.

So here I am today.. Thank you for your thread & Thanks to all those who send hearts to me & everyone else!

It's so much fun.. I just bought my hearts today!

They definitely make my day brighter.

And thank you, Bev54, for bringing this up. I wasn’t sure whether to start another ‘thank you’ thread since there are so many and just wasn’t sure of the best way to handle it.

I love Valentine Week. I love giving them, and looking for names I might have just let slip by in ordinary times. “Oh! I like them! They deserve a heart.” And I like seeking out those who are new or don’t have any yet. It’s fun to imagine them smiling.

DU at its best.

Sometimes I hint I am spreading some love, but the whole thing is so easy to do and fun to receive--especially after so much indoor time away from social events (for me, at least).

I will happily express thanks to all who have perked me up with hearts! Thank you.

and don’t expect to be thanked because they are anonymous. I specifically gave several to a person who brightens my Sunday mornings for years with laughter, pictures and cartoons, but the others went to folks who caught my attention with a post.
