to keep every promise... don't win the next election (as often as those who violate one of those two parameters). Minimal promisers lose. Those who betrayed X/Y/Z to deliver on promises A/B/C also lose.

Differential survival rate between the two groups, bada bing bada boom... Remember, what we've got in office is almost entirely those who have won many, many elections in a row -- IOW, not promise keepers on average.

Strangely enough, fellow early walker saw a drop bear scuttle along the dunes, coupla da ys ago.

We rarely see them in the coastal scrub; few gum trees. But it seems the y're there, which is good.

May not be a bad fire season this year; triple La Nina left everything saturated.

Next year or two will be bad.
