There's a delusion in DC that Sinema isn't running for reelection

There's delusion in Washington that Kyrsten Sinema isn't running for reelection -- she is. She's raising cash & was just feted at a fundraiser in Palm Beach by Steve Schwarzman.

& in case you are not familiar with Schwarzman, he's a PE giant, a MAJOR beneficiary of the carried interest loophole Sinema protected

Sinema went to Davos with a light schedule & a heavy fundraising game plan.

Sinema's making way too much money and getting way too much attention to give this job up. If she runs as an independent, she's basically handing the Senate seat to the Republican candidate , isn't she?

While it wouldn't surprise me if she did make another run, either way she'd never want to give up the money, not to mention the attention, from her high-priced exclusive fundraisers. She clearly loves hobnobbing with wealthy donors.

There is a chance she will pull more voters from a radical repug candidate like lake than she will from the dem.

Most dems don't like her at this point. Her rep is as a phony who is in it for herself.

If she runs on the dem ticket, she won’t win the primary. If she runs on the gqp ticket she won’t win that primary either. A bisexual woman on the gqp ticket …nope. If lake runs she will win the primary.
If she runs as an independent, who’s going to vote for her? Certainly not the gqp, and certainly not the Dems.

Early polls show a close race for Gallego, but again, it’s early.

Gallego will be the Dem nominee.

What we can be sure of is Sinema’s career ends in 2024, and that’s a good thing.

even with Ms. Cinema as an indy candidate, by a couple percentage points.

It was a few days back... sorry, can't recall the source now.
