If you don't need a voucher to afford private school, you don't get one.
It is completely your choice to send your kids to private school. And if you can afford it without a voucher then why should you get one.

(16,939 posts)it's about being able to go to those schools that YOU opt to support, say, the 'CHURCH' school that you like, or the '2nd. Amendment' school that the local wing-nuts like, or ANY school that might not be teaching what YOU don't like in the school that your child is attending now.
Don't like your kid's teacher because of color/name/hair style/car driven/grade given? DEMAND 'SCHOOL CHOICE!'
Priest/Pastor tells you that your child is going to hell because that child is not in the 'church' school? DEMAND 'SCHOOL CHOICE!'
School tells you that your child is struggling - perhaps 'learning disability?' DEMAND 'SCHOOL CHOICE!'
Don't like the books that your child's school has in the library? DEMAND 'SCHOOL CHOICE!'
Mad at the Principal because your child got 'detention?' DEMAND 'SCHOOL CHOICE!'
Oh, and don't 'expect' the 'choice' school to abide by the state education requirements/standards. THEY don't have to - but they STILL want YOUR tax dollars. After all, SOMEBODY has to pay for the fuel and docking fees in Betsy DeVos' yacht!!
