That series, Criminal Intent and SVU. Good stories and good actors. Real life situations. Many controversial.

Edward Herrimann played a guy who had provided a gun to a guy who shot and killed a doctor, the DA made it clear the "pro-lifer" was too much of a chickenshit to shoot the doctor himself.

The older guy talked him into blaming the doctor. That was a good one, too.
