Haley : 'As President, George Washington oversaw the creation of our Constitution'

Oh yeah. Washington was duly elected in accordance with the Constitution that did not exist, and swore an oath to uphold whatever he came up with. So LOL dumb.

Travis Akers
@travisakers
The Constitution was ratified in 1787. George Washington became president in 1789. But please, continue with your history lesson...

You've got to deal with this:

As the president of the Constitutional Convention, George Washington rarely participated in the debates. However, when the Constitution headed to the states for approval, Washington took an active role in the ratification process.

comment.

The Continental army was sure as hell not an unstoppable force. They suffered horrors for their desire for freedom not just as the hands of the British but also the weather and disease and hunger. And if they hadn't served as inspiration for the French to assist (which they were more than happy to do since they got to weaken the British) we probably would have lost.

If they could get away with it, they would declare Washington to be the first Republican President and write it into our history books.

That's the level of scumbags they are and the level of autocratic control they would love to subject us to........

This is why I want every prospective holder of the offices of President, Vice-President, U.S. Senator, or member of the House of Representatives take the same test every immigrant is required to take to become a U.S. citizen. If they fail, they should be barred for 20 years, (or life?), from running for national office.

If you don‘t know much about our country, you have no legitimate reason to be allowed to participate in running it.
