Substitute "the court" for "the government" and it makes more sense. Nt Fiendish Thingy Feb 2023 #7
Even then, the court would only (maybe) 'announce' it if the subpoena were actually accepted Hugh_Lebowski Feb 2023 #9

I think he's in a no-win situation. I'm thinking that the only thing he could do is take the 5th - and even that is not a good option.

Seems like a story made-up for Faux Nooz. They'll say 'Trump will accept Proud Boys defense subpoena!!1! What a good guy, right!?!'.

And then he either actually won't accept it, or he won't show up to court if he does.

And Faux will never mention it again.

They wouldn't make a public statement of "the court expects it will be accepted" ahead of the fact.

Biggs is the one who “expects” the announcement, but the expected announcement is framed as: TFG has agreed to accept service of the subpoena.

No word on if anyone expected TFG to comply with the subpoena…

Can this no good fucker, PICK and CHOOSE what questions to answer? I'm thinking that if he answers ONE question, he can no longer take the fifth?

He's already been called to testify before the Grand Jury by Smith. IMHO it's unbrick first him to still be representing Trump due to conflict of interest.

Seems unlikely he'd be accepting any other work, his own license may be in jeopardy pretty soon.
