Officials in 32 states and other jurisdictions have been using texts, voicemails, snail mail, flyers and social media posts all in multiple languages to let recipients know that their extra food stamps end after February's payments.

I sincerely hope Dems pound qpukes with this. We all know who takes great pleasure in causing pain & suffering & it's not Dems!
I belive this ended in TN over a year ago, but not sure.
What I did find is that TN decreased SNAP benefits due to increase in SSA/SSI/SSDI as of January. Funny how that works, hu? this is consistent with what retired neighbor shared. Was receiving $156/mo SNAP until SSA increase. Now cut to $54/mo. Nice, right?

(19,104 posts)Have a good friend who's a disabled vet battling all sorts f serious health issues. This extra money allowed him to buy real food and eat healthier. He's going to return to whatever is cheapest with less money.
