PA: Democrat Elen Snyder Launches Re-Election Campaign For Newtown Township Supervisor
Protecting the environment, safeguarding civil rights, and ensuring public safety are all top priorities for Newtown Township Supervisor Elen Snyder, who announced her candidacy to run in this years upcoming municipal election.
Snyder, a six-year resident of Newtown Township, was elected in 2021 to a two-year term to fill the supervisors seat vacated by Linda Bobrin.
In September, the Democratic four-to-one supervisory board voted unanimously to pass a resolution opposing the sale of the Bucks County Sewer Authority to Aqua America.
Due to the public outcry against probable soaring costs associated with the sale of BCSWA to a private company, the Newtown Supervisors wholeheartedly agreed with our community when drafting our resolution opposing the sale, Snyder said.
