1. Someone on DU recently was trying to remember

which movie had the contaminated water been given to the higher ups with the big bucks and big jobs. It worked. I thought of this movie.

The link that I posted is not the movie. It is the real Erin Brockovich at the town hall meeting Friday evening in East Palestine, Ohio.

and her current work from Googling her after one of the times I saw that film. Julia Roberts did a good job playing the real Erin.

Trivia: Erin made a cameo apoearance as a waitress in one scene.

I have the movie on videocassette. Still have my VCR. Watched it again a couple nights ago.

Erin's appearance is early in the film.

2. Ironically, at least some of the people in her audience were

likely calling her names like "Erin Brock-o-bitch" up until their own ox got gored. She has been demonized as a dreaded "commie librul environmentalist" type by the Right for years. Oops.

insisted that Erin and the attorney she worked for never had a solid case and only won cash awards because Erin slept around with the other attorneys and the judges.

They will believe anything but the facts.

No doubt Trump water is labeled as "pure spring water" or as "purified water," but is most likely tap water from a public source. He'd use a public source to avoid an increase in his water bill.
