Trudeau snaps back at anti-vax protester during Ukraine solidarity event:

Here’s the Trudeau interaction with an anti-vax protestor at the Ukrainian vigil in Toronto. He really snapped back at the individual who was shouting at him for stealing freedoms.

Anti-vaxxers do not have the freedom to get sick and infect other people with deadly debilitating respiratory illnesses as a result of their selfishness, even if it is selfishness over their rights. Rights are shared, not owned.

Nor do they have the right to disrupt an event. Sure, picket the entrances, but they do not have the right to interfere.

No, I take that back. Not good.

In Canada we have 3 main parties. Trudeau's Liberals are like the more conservative Democrats. The Sinema type that support large corporate interests, but are socially liberal as well. That's why I vote New Democratic Party, the progressive choice to the left of them.

So I'm not a big Trudeau fan, but he's much better than the alternative Conservatives who are turning more and more into a MAGAT leaning party.

But I am sickened by the vitriol that our PM gets every time he goes out in public. People screaming that he's a pedofile. A dictator. People so riled up by conspiracy theories made up by right wing content they get on Facebook.

In years past, idiots like this would be dismissed as loons. But now a days, they have support from a large minority. So many in both our countries that have been so brainwashed with fear of any government that is even slightly to the left of the most conservative party in the country. And even that's not fascist enough for some. Disgusting.
