(1,154 posts)2. Mt. Tam
Once upon a time, ages ago, I lived in a little bungalow on a ridge side in Larkspur (Madrone Canyon) with a stunning view of Mt. Tam out the window. My God it was amazing, and I was paying (wait for it) $95 a month!

I'm willing to bet that it's a lot more now!

(10,969 posts)4. We have snow in the hills around Napa
Which is funny, because the rim around the valley I live in isn't nearly as high as Mt. Tam. Still, was outside yesterday and everything around us is snow-capped.
Also, we finally said screw it and turned the furnace on for the first time this winter.
