Moving the goal posts after the guild made a good faith effort to the meet the budget cuts requested in negotiations.

While management demanded layoffs of 25% of the guild members (16 out of 60 positions), they didn’t commit to a single layoff on the management staff (30 positions, averaging twice the salary of a guild member).

I hope they go on strike, and I hope all DUer’s would support them by not crossing the “digital picket line” and refusing to visit Daily Kos during the strike, and not posting or commenting on diaries during the strike.

And their live blogging of the J6 trials and coverage of the Ukraine war were both top notch.

But the site is nearly unreadable without an ad blocker ($60/yr to go ad free!), and this union busting BS has soured me on the site.
