(15,570 posts)Moving the goal posts after the guild made a good faith effort to the meet the budget cuts requested in negotiations.
While management demanded layoffs of 25% of the guild members (16 out of 60 positions), they didnt commit to a single layoff on the management staff (30 positions, averaging twice the salary of a guild member).
I hope they go on strike, and I hope all DUers would support them by not crossing the digital picket line and refusing to visit Daily Kos during the strike, and not posting or commenting on diaries during the strike.

But the site is nearly unreadable without an ad blocker ($60/yr to go ad free!), and this union busting BS has soured me on the site.
