Sen Marco Rubio calls for internal investigation into Pete Buttigieg use of FAA jets

From Washington post. See below for link to no paywall article.

An internal watchdog will audit Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s use of Federal Aviation Administration jets for official trips, his office said Monday.

The Transportation Department said Buttigieg made 18 flights on FAA planes over seven trips. In all but one trip, it was less expensive to use FAA aircraft than to fly commercially, Buttigieg’s office said. The cost of the flights for Buttigieg and accompanying staff was $41,905.20, according to the department.

The audit by the Transportation Department’s inspector general was requested by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who cited a report by Fox News.

He's made it obvious for years that he hates gay people. I think that's what is really behind all of this.

And that Rubio is against beefing up audits for actual wealthy tax cheats at the IRS, but instead wastes taxpayer money and personnel time on chasing FoxNews BS speculative reports.

Flying commercial doesn't always get an official where he needs to be in a timely manner.

GOP: they whine that Pete doesn't get where they think he should and they whine when he does get to where he is needed.

Yep, he scares them to death. I heard some of them were complaining about the shoes he wore to Ohio train derailment the other day.
