The Worldwide Privacy Tour has gone off the rails....

"Prince Harry is set to unpack his experiences with a controversial trauma expert on Saturday, during a virtual event in which attendees can submit questions for the former royal to answer.
Harry, whose memoir Spare topped bestseller charts, will join Canadian doctor and author Gabor Maté for an 'intimate conversation,' to which royal fans can purchase tickers for $33.99, publisher Random House said in a statement about the event."
How bizarre.
Surely it is not ethical for a therapist to counsel a patient in a public livestream event? There's probably an argument to be made that a patient who would want such a thing has more wrong with them than just the unbelievable rare trauma of a spouse not getting on with their in-laws.

(55,129 posts)How can such an event be transparent? Answers will be distorted because they are known to be public. This has ethical, moral, logistical, believability issues. I daresay the concept has more problems than the client. But I do admire him, he is one strong-willed person.

(2,499 posts)This could give TFG some ideas. Who has suffered more trauma than him? Dont we all want to hear more about the unimaginable pain that he has endured? And its a great grift.
