The very least that Rupert Murdoch should do is to fire the hosts that promoted the Big Lie.

As evidence that they still consider themselves a news organization, they should cleanse themselves of the worst violators of the truth.

He should immediately release Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro, and all others, that knowingly lied to their viewers about the election results of the 2020 election.

Also, he should vow to never have liars such as Rudy Guiliani, Sidney Powell, or any Trump progeny on his network ever again.

Otherwise, he should be penalized very heavily for his lies that directly led to the insurrection of January 6th, 2021 and much of the current division in this country.

In order to get a lesser fine, he needs to cut these liars loose from his network.

Of course, Rupert Murdoch does not feel vulnerable about any of these charges. He may pay a substantial fine but he has done that before. That's just the price of doing propaganda.

I'm betting that's not going to happen.

He was in on it. His emails are in with Carlson's and Bartiromo's and Hannity's... he agreed that they needed to draw back the viewers they lost when they correctly called AZ for President Biden.

Or if FOX hosts would have been able to lie the way they did, and continue to do?

Fox does better (economically) to keep lying so they have more money to cover the cost of lying.

This is cable TV. He gives them the news that they want to hear. It makes them feel warm and fuzzy to have someone speechify their own internal dialogue
