Ted Cruz and JD Vance fail to bring in the crowds for CPAC

The annual far-right conference CPAC is a ghost town, according to some photos of the conference space.

C-SPAN has been airing some of the panel discussions while showing crowd shots of the empty chairs. Reporters at the event have taken photos of not only the empty chairs, but the people who are on hand to watch the speeches are almost entirely elderly and white.

It seems like every other week we're hearing about some bile and blather being vomited in our direction from these cpac conferences. Didn't they just have one a week or so ago?

Like tent revival meetings, there are bizarre little productions which are put on in various cities that are collections of Fox guest has-beens and other miscreants.

I did see a clip on the news showing a low attendance number. A reporter asked an AA dude if he was a TRump supporter and he said something to the effect he was the only point of being there. Without trump there would be no Cpac conference worth going to.
