Sometimes the whole issue in the case might just be whether there is jurisdiction. Nevilledog Mar 2023 #2

My initial gut feeling is that they're looking for a way to toss the case without getting to the merits.

Both sides have argued the merits, and were awaiting SCOTUS decision .
Then NC Supreme Court goes from D to R … and so the R’s want to try it again, a do over … and then if it goes to the R’s favor, if Dems want to appeal to SCOTUS, what then? They can say they have no jurisdiction?

Something stinks

Never think that the Nat-C majority won't suddenly grab their genitals as they espouse their "closely held constitutional beliefs"...

The Nat-C majority has continually enshrined delusional malevolence as law supplanting mankind's reasoned march of forward progress.

On occasion they'll dress it up pretty akin to lipstick on a pig.

It's still a pig.

Here's to the rule of reason.

It's the only way our freedoms exist.

Prior experience with this court shows guidance from the bench within GOP losses from the court. The losses contain opinions that allow them to then craft laws that their Nat-C SCOTUS majority is willing to rubber-stamp with their traitorous kiss.

We'll see, time will tell, it always does.
