Another J6er goes down.

Last edited Mon Mar 6, 2023, 08:08 PM - Edit history (1)

WASHINGTON – A Stark County man learned Monday he must spend 49 months in federal prison for his role in breaching the U.S. Capitol.

John Douglas Wright, 56, was sentenced in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia., more than two years after the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection.

Wright addressed Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, expressing remorse and taking responsibility.

“I want to apologize for my actions, not just to you, but to the government, to fellow Americans,” Wright said. “I was there and am responsible for it."
aid.

During the sentencing, the U.S. attorney showed video footage and photographs of Wright at the Capitol. The footage showed Wright pushing against barricades by the Capitol Police, as well as another video showing him pushing a piece of the metal barricade fencing down on a Capitol Police officer.

According to court documents, Wright organized two charter buses that he owned to travel to Washington, D.C., charging 100 people $50 each to go to D.C. for the “Stop the Steal” rally.

We had an elderly parent living with us and we got her Alexa to give her something to listen to music or hear a book reading but she could never get the hang of it. She would wait too long after saying Alexa before requesting something lol.

...the last person you want staring you down from the bench is Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly. She was made a DC Superior Court judge by Reagan, and elevated to the federal bench by Clinton. Hopefully she gets the opportunity to throw all these guys in prison before she completely retires from the bench - she went into Senior Judge status on February 21, 2023.

So I'm not surprised only 2 showed actual remorse.

He has to pay a 'restitution' of $2000 to the "ARCHITECT OF THE CAPITOL."

Yeah, that's the guy that Joe just fired because he couldn't bother to be there on Jan. 6, in spite of ALL of the warnings!

The guy was getting heat for MANY reasons, and even the Repukes were complaining about him - and PRESIDENT BIDEN seized the moment and 'made him gone!'
Yes, he was another FAILED tRUMP appointment.
And YES, Joe got him gone!

given the political atmosphere still being displayed.........Out of 70 million Republican Patsy voters, there are bound to be more from where they came from. And, quite possibly many of the militia groups around the nation that didn't show up last time round.......

At this stage of the game, I wouldn't be surprised at anything.......Just think about how many times in the past 6+ years we have repeatedly said: "They Can't Do That".........and they actually did it, and worse, never paid for it.......except for these few clowns........

Justice matters.

Now that they know their dear hair furhair ordered the metal detectors to be shut down, they may bet they'll be able to bring their AR15s with them next time.

Only 17.75 months left before the 60-day LE blackout rule kicks in...

And hair furhair still golfs at our expense (SS protected).
