https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/alex-jones-520000-salary-bankruptcy-plan-97722145In bankruptcy usually the debtor (in this case, Free Speech Systems and Jones in the personal bankruptcy) gets first crack at proposing a plan.
The creditors have to agree. If they dont, in some cases they can propose their own plan.
The ultimate decision is up to the court.
It's possible for other entities and individuals to propose an alternate plan with either Jones (not likely, lol) or the creditors, which might then be filed with the court.
Who might be personally would be willing to run Free Speech Systems for let's say, $250,000 a year and a mere $750,000 in bonuses and incentives?
That seems like a comparative bargain and it would free up even more cash to pay the claims filed by the Sandy Hook parents and any other creditors...
I think the court should "shop around"!
What do y'all think?

(128,150 posts)a salary of more than $500,000 per year is excessive.

(4,137 posts)This has widespread coverage worldwide.
I would be genuinely surprised if multiple 3rd parties do not submit alternate proposals to either Jones himself, and/or the creditors.
I'm just patiently waiting, biding my time, going about my own business and doing my own thing since holding one's breath in anticipation is the provenance of idiots and fools.
Time will tell.
It always does.
