3. There are no "mods", for over a decade

There are "hosts", who look at specific problems with posts that break forum or group rules; there are juries that judge on apparent overall DU rule breaking in specific posts. Alert on the post for either of these.

There is "MIRT", the Malicious Intruder Removal Team, who look at suspicious very recently-joined members - the new list of them can be found here: https://www.democraticunderground.com/101312782 . You could message one of them if it is about someone you suspect is a malicious troll.

4. Thanks Muriel, I was using the term Mod to get to someone who might

be a faster responder than the Admins. Canetoad did respond and I copied him/her on the msg i sent to EarlG. I dont know if this new member is naive or malicious. EarlG may think it's a nothing burger, but I figured it's better to let him know asap, in the event that it needs action.

Thanks for the explanation on the MIRT. I've been very busy and couldnt log in for awhile.
