Slightly different approach this morning:

Whilst showering at the ungodly hour of 4:45 AM, I was considering when these indictments might come down and I thought of a passage from Jules Verne’s The Mysterious Island wherein a pirate ship threatens the castaways/colonists. All seems lost, but then:

“The colonists’ situation was desperate. Their retreat was discovered. They could not oppose any obstacle to these missiles, nor protect the stone, which flew in splinters around them. There was nothing to be done but to take refuge in the upper passage of Granite House, and leave their dwelling to be devastated, when a deep roar was heard, followed by frightful cries!

Cyrus Harding and his companions rushed to one of the windows—

The brig, irresistibly raised on a sort of water-spout, had just split in
two, and in less than ten seconds she was swallowed up with all her criminal crew!”

****************************

I’m awaiting….with bated breath, the swallowing of this criminal crew. . I believe it’s going to be a cascade of indictments, but I’m often mistaken….🙏

I have always believed Trump would suddenly be taken down by an avalanche of justice. Like a snowpack building and building and then suddenly it lets loose and sweeps everyone away in its path.

Not quite Deus in this case however….you are correct. It is, I believe, the best Verne book by far.

Was the first example of deus ex machina when Moses parted the Red Sea? It was certainly an act of god, and it definitely pulled the israelites’ biscuits out of the fire.

But in the case of traitor and his henchmen, hoping for a more human resolution, that reinforces our belief in our system law and justice.

And leaves them all penniless and rotting in prison.

...but it won't be deus ex machina; it will be the hand of justice executed by the proper government departments. All the I's will be dotted and the T's crossed.

Had for several months now. I think the indictments will, most of those we know about and expect, will come around the 23rd and thereafter. Just a feeling but I think that feeling has weight.

A lot of things are about to change real soon, by the middle of autumn... at least that should be the beginning of a long spell of what might be seen as the time of comeuppance in many ways, good and bad.
