She was trying to explain why the Republican's lost, but all she really came up with was the "changing demographic" and that people only hear about the "bad" side of the Republican party. Because all the Republican Party wants is to not run up debt and to make sure people can educate their kids the way they want.
See, she's at least a Bush Era Republican in that she knows to speak in code. The Tea Party's problem is that instead of saying "educate your kids the way you want" they started saying "we will end public education and give all that money to the churches", for example.

(26,087 posts)I disapprove of women being spoken of a certain way, and I don't care who that woman is.

(1,663 posts)If you want to be a puritan that's your business but not everyone has your hangups. Save the lectures for your Sunday school students.
It is also a reference to her infamous knob and little penis photo.

(7,044 posts)...and ignoring the dynamic Democratic stars on the rise...
NO ONE COULD POSSIBLY HAVE IMAGINED that a corrupt has-been FAILED embittered Republican factotum like Condi, would be a national TV postmortem guest, instead of someone relevant and insightful like Sen. Elect Elizabeth Warren...

(14,554 posts)I think she seemed really ... ineffectual. She had nothing to say because she does not matter. Why not get some people who actually hold some political positions on there?

(14,554 posts)do the whole act, oddly. They gave her ample time to talk, but she just sort of spewed how people don't really know the REAL Republicans because of the media, blah blah. No, dearie, what lost the election is that people are STARTING to see the real Republicans.
And then she talked about golf.

(31,706 posts)The rushpublicans were repudiated...the entire party and all that they stand for. They lost every major voting group other than white males over 30. Polls showed that a majority of voters still blamed dubya for the economic mess President Obama has had to deal with and surely all the ex-boooshies hanging around Willard gave the creeps to a lot of voters. But to the shell-shocked rushpublicans, it's only a "branding" problem...something cosmetic they can just tweek here and there and they'll be just fine. May they stay in the wilderness...our country is better off for it!

(14,554 posts)I was worried that they were waking up. But no, they're not. They are going to continue to dig their way to complete irrelevance.

(31,706 posts)It had to be Hurricane Sandy or else Queen Ann would be ordering Oval Office drapes by now. If it wasn't that, then it was Akin's fault...for "misspeaking" or some type of luck that led to President Obama's big win. They refuse to believe that a majority of Americans rejected their regressive and obstructionist ways.
Yep...keep digging...and it looks like they're quickly moving from a shovel to an earth mover...
Cheers...

(15,662 posts)This ain't like Condoleeza's grade school experience. People don't want their kids actually educated. They're not fighting to get them into public schools because they have a right ot be there. They want to control what their children learn and make sure they aren't introduced to ideas that are contrary to their religious beliefs. That doesn't help this country. That's a fast track to making this country an ignorant has-been.
LisaLynne
(14,554 posts)that their chances are better the less educated the voting public is, so it helps them, but it is very much a sort of scorched earth plan.

(42,770 posts)for someone who could have prevented 9-11. She freely admits that she knew there would be
a "regular" hijacking yet did nothing. If those guys never got on the plane or in the cockpit
there would have been no 9-11.
then, she lied about the mushroom cloud.
AHHHHHHHHHHHH. I hate this person more than anyone
P.S. The is no "good side" to the repuke party....not anymore

(32,086 posts)You want to know why people only hear about the "bad" side of the republican party? Because it's the only side you have. And, it's so big, that people are FINALLY starting to notice it.
