Is this just my computers, or is something weird going on with DU's programming?

About half (literally) the time I log in to DU, before I get any further, I am presented with a list of cookies I must accept or reject before I am allowed in to the site.

Once or twice, I can see, and if it's on a device I haven't had this happen to before, I can see that, too.

But this has been happening repeatedly on my cell phone, my laptop and my desktop since January, and it is getting VERY tedious to click off all those blue squares many times a week. My visits to DU have been reduced due to my just not having the time or will to do it for the fifth time or ninth time on any particular day.

Is this just happening to me, or are others getting harassed by this as well?

1. Did you recently clear your cookies?

If you are not a star member and a getting ads, it could be the ads.

4. You should see that once but after that you shouldn't see it again.

First thing I would try is clearing your cookies/browsing data for DU. Let me know if that makes a difference. And if anyone else is experiencing this please let me know.

Edited to add, never mind, this is happening on multiple devices so it can’t be cookies. Are you behind a VPN?

5. shut down. pull all plugs and walk a way for a few hours and then plug everything back

in and do a full power up.had some issues and that worked for me.

6. Nothing like that has happened to me, DFW

I use a desktop computer with Windows 11 and a laptop (sometimes) with Windows 10. DU performs flawlessly on both of them. Maybe someone in the Community Help or the Computers & Internet group could be of assistance. You're too valuable a DU'er to be subjected to this annoyance.

It was startling, and I'd never seen it before, but I think it was only when I was using a VPN not connected to the US.

It happened last year and is now happening again.
