But yea, if it were "them" it would be 51% and they'd be rubbing our noses in it every chance they got.

"They" meaning GOP, M$M, the entire RW looney bin.

.5% may not sound like much but that represents 1,563,905 people that are likley Obama supporters (whether they voted or not). That's a pretty significant number of persons to wipe away by rounding down.

It's close enough for most calculations. After that, you need calculus.

As the talking Barbie doll said, "Math is hard."

The wingnuts have enough trouble with the concept of 1/2.

On Edit: Actually, just "3" is close enough for estimating - especially when you're doing it in your head.
