I’ve noticed that talking point rearing its ugly head lately. “My truth.” “Our truth.” “Their truth.” This is a VERY subtle and sneaky talking point design and manipulation.

When the word “truth” is added, that can in some ways “indemnify” the main concept being pushed or promoted here. At least to the low-information crowd that tends to hand its critical-thinking capability over to media manipulators like Pox Noise because those media outfits will parrot “their truth” back to them.

And THAT, in turn, serves to “validate” whatever pro-trump attempted historical/factual rewriting of reality (specifically the reality they don’t like and don’t want to have to face). They don’t like how things are going? Then change the language and how you label it and describe it. And if you do that repeatedly and relentlessly enough (WITH the willing-and-eager support of actual media outlets of perceived prominence like Pox Noise), then to many viewers and listeners that BECOMES the truth. THEIR “truth”.

Besides, that’s a fertile field of an audience that’s already won over and feeling formally and officially validated because that’s already what they believe anyway. They’re told, by marquee-level people that their upside-down world is really the one that’s right side-up and therefore, their cockamamie “world view” gains validation and credibility. Maybe that should be “credibility”. In quotes.
