I think Trump is guessing about the date (and it's a good guess), but he put it out there as certain to see how well he can focus the violence.

This time there's no Congressional Certification place, time, and date, but Trump can at least specify a date.

Maybe he's testing his "focusing equipment."

He's wondering how to get his "toy" to work in a more diffuse situation.

By self-admission, I'm a grown up old "liberal" woman who, by BMI numbers, is a bit overweight. - Is vulnerability a characteristic of "liberals"? Getting off a bus I had never taken before at the right stop or taking a freeway never before taken was also problematic. The subways of DC were a novel experience shared with DH.
