Yes there is a resemblance, but not a good one.

Facial recognition is located in the temporal lobe in the brain.

I had almost perfect facial recognition. I could look at an adult
and locate that adult in baby and childhood pictures.
Even when the face changed I recognized it.
Like an actor aging or wearing heavy make up and wigs, etc.
I could still identify the actor.

But then I had a severe concussion in the temporal lobe area and lost
most of the ability. But I still have the ability to see a shit storm fake
identify when I see it.

But obviously not an exact double.

I doubt Putin would walk around a war torn country, with people all around who would kill him in a heartbeat.

He usually does not swing his right arm when he walks. He has also been keeping about 20 feet from others due to fears of Covid, or polonium tea. Recall the long tables where he met his own general, and Macron. And the Christmas video in the church where no one came close to him.

He keeps touching his chin area with his left hand, but he is right-handed.
