Boehner is a LIAR and major BSer.

On MSNBC now, presser.

Said the foundations of the Republican Party are sound.

Asked if the GOP will be willing to raise taxes especially since a poll showed a majority of Americans were in favor of raising taxes on the wealthy. Boehner answered that the problem with that is taxes would raised on small businesses (the job creators) and basically stifle growth.

They haven't learned a damn thing. GOP still lead by teabaggers that will not compromise and will not work with the POTUS.

Major problem.

Hopefully there will be a copy of the video up soon.

When most folks think of small businesses, we're thinking of the coffee shop down the street or the new laundromat on the corner.

I give him credit for taking questions, although his bullshit argument against taxing the wealthy piss me off.

Why doesn't anybody ask WHY HASN'T THIS TAX CUT PRODUCED ANY JOBS THUS FAR????

And, remember when Boehner said he would bring a zillion new jobs (I forget the number) when he became Speaker? Why has that disappeared off the radar?

All in all' I think Boehner has the potential to be pretty reasonable, old school Republican if he weren't being yanked by the extremists (and if only to agree with the Dems so he could get out of the room in time to hit Happy Hour).

Note to voters, if you really want to increase taxes on the wealthy then you absolutely MUST STOP sending Republicans to Congress.

are in support of the republicrat position... don't raise their taxes.
Don't think for one minute that the major media will take the side of the average Joe.
They have a stake in keeping rich-boy taxes low.
What needs to happen is free internet sources of news and opinion need to be legitimized so the pressure of *actual* news and opinion is put on major media to more closely resemble public opinion instead of *creating* public opinion and the threat of loss of market due to skewed broadcasts becomes very real.

Fri Nov 9, 2012, 01:06 PM

Since Obama's individual tax rates are generally not targeted at small, large or any business it could be a pointless political stance that allows Boehner to declare a victory if he does eventually come to a Bush tax cut agreement with Obama. We compromised, but we didn't compromise our small business tax stance...

Just throwing this idea out there.
