My response to Facebook post by a long time friend upset over President Obama being re-elected

I've known this woman since elementary school and we also went to the same high school. Her son joined the Air Force during the Bush years and came back messed up. I talked with her about it and she was mad at Bush. But from her posting on Facebook I knew she was still a right winger. On November 7th she wrote:

"It's time to get a divorce, go on welfare and accept Obama care.. It will make me just another Stupid American."

I wrote her:"Janet, really ? Really? Turn off Fox and learn the truth you are being lied to".

We had the same education and I am a raging liberal while she is a republican. But the hard thing I remember talking with her about how she was disgusted with Bush and how the war in Iraq messed up her son and she has the nerve to support the candidate who would get us back into these useless wars to benefit their military contractors. It's just disgusting. I know she will probably unfriend me and I don't care but I want to scream at her big time.

And then when they start trying to collect, they will realize how hard and narrow the system really is. Do you have any assets -- money in the bank, stocks, bonds savings? You will have to drain all of those and they will look to see how it was spent. You can't just take it out and hide it. Have a car that runs? A house? Sorry that has to go. You may be able to keep an old beater with a low Blue Book value. You can't just get a divorce and collect welfare. You have to have young children living with you at home to qualify. And if they are older than 5, you are required to get a job. Sorry, no Obamacare for you since the subsidies don't kick in until 2014. You may be able to get food stamps and still keep your house, but that's about it, and no, you won't be eating steak and lobster if you plan on eating more than a few times a month.

I'd like to see film of some of these Limbaugh parrots doing just that. I would make a great comedy movie.
