The thing in DC that had such deadlines as midnight and six a.m.

Are we seeing impatience and intolerance of bullshit.

2. I do not expect Corcoran to testify Friday,

I expect Trump to appeal to the Supreme Court at the last minute. he won't win at the SC but he will delay Corcoran's testimony.

Just my opinion from observing Trump.

3. The Corcoran "thing", and the DC "thing" are the same "thing."

Both are taking place in DC; specifically the DC District Court, initially, and then the DC Circuit.
