Just a mater of time before fascist djt and his banana republicans refuse to raise the debt limit,

He'll tell McCarthy to refuse to do it, with excuse after excuse , and he'll force him into doing it, then when it backfires on them he'll deny being a part of it. He likes hurting people. It makes him feel powerful. For being held accountable he'll exact his revenge on all Americans, one way or another. Its coming.

Republicans think by crashing the economy that Biden will be blamed.

I believe Biden has already gamed this scenario and has a plan in place.

In any case, cash is your friend in the coming months. IMO the market will go through some extreme gyrations.

You’d think some contingent would oppose it. I expect pressure will be brought to bear against holdouts.

...I don't think too many in the top 0.01% would want to risk the global meltdown a US debt default would cause. So, yes, I assume the pressure to raise the debt ceiling will be strong.

that crazy people will do crazy things, no matter what the consequences.

The money people may put a ton of pressure on McCarthy and the Republicans, but that may not have much -- or any -- influence on them and their determination to wreck the economy and blame Biden.

Or even just a handful of Republicans not voting?
