Really?
You're still in shock.
You really thought this candidate you put forth as your best chance to defeat Barack Obama was the answer to your prayers.
It's about time you folks take your collective heads and finally pull them out of your collective asses.
Here's the scoop - MITT ROMNEY WAS NEVER EVEN CLOSE TO WINNING
He was a poor candidate.
He alienated everyone but wealthy white landowners and fetuses. Last time I checked fetuses can't vote.
Faux News thought if they just said "There's no place like a GOP victory" and click their heels 3 times that somehow that would magically make Mitt Romney likable by the voting population.
And that was a huge problem - Liberals didn't like or trust Mitt Romney and your rightwing tea partiers weren't that keen on the guy either. Doesn't matter if you can convince billionaires to invest in your candidate - if he sucks then he isn't going to win.

(20,600 posts)came off as non-human much of the time. I mean, talk about imitating what humans do, Mitt didn't seem to know how to. Mitt was stiff as a board, and awkward as hell when trying to schmooze with the people. He was as phony as a 3 dollar bill on top of that. Yet, despite all this, 58 million of my fellow Amurikans voted for him. Welcome to Amurika.

Well said, and no one would blink an eye as they took photos of themselves next to what they thought was a wax figure.

(47,675 posts)Face it. None of them could have won. I still can't figure out why the billionaires threw all of that money away. They would have done just as well to burn it - at least that would let them roast hot dogs.
