Let's just say, what motivated the GOP for years, but was often unspoken:

• Racism
• Fear of retribution from the minorities they terrorized, and which are becoming majorities. (loss of privilege is part of this)

The key modus operandi seems to be projection of weakness and fear onto others: typically Blacks and Jews et. al., and lumped into the "nickname du jour" .. be that lib, deep state, George Soros, or woke, and the transformation of a political party into a cult, driven by personality politics and the two points above.

Words have no meaning or connection to reality. They are just weapons used for effect. (Did you notice actors among their candidates? ) And the words often contradict themselves. The cult uses them to continually to maintain group identity: "We're not them". And they stand for nothing more.
