1960 was over 60 years ago, and most, if not all, of the women in that picture are deceased by now. However, I imagine their kids would probably prefer that their own grandchildren never learn about their great grandmothers throwing rocks at Ruby Bridges!

My children could not conceive of such racist barbarity. I expect schools to continue to spread the message when I am gone and can no longer stand as a witness.
