Maybe everything's changing so fast reality's an unseeable blur?

In any case, change inevitably causes changes, most predictably including reaction that puts brakes on and changes course.

Effective July 1, 2021, most adults will be allowed to carry a handgun or other firearm in Tennessee without a permit, whether openly or concealed. The new legislation eliminates the permit requirement for eligible gun owners, as well as the misdemeanor offense of carrying a handgun without a permit.

It's happened multiple times in Seattle: Cafe Racer (schizophrenic), Capitol Hil Rave Party (alienated young male), Seattle Jewish Federation (antisemitic terrorism).

Rampage shootings happen anywhere in the US that guns are easy to acquire and people are homicidally angry. Which is everywhere.

And gun violence is gun violence. If you have statistical evidence that """rampage shootings""" are just as prevalent or more so in blue states than in red states, cite your source.

I said that it happens everywhere; no place in America is exempt, GOP policy or no GOP policy.

YOU changed the topic to gun violence in general.

In the case of Rampage Shootings, gun violence isn't simply gun violence. We hold these massacres, of children especially, to be worse than the daily gun suicides - those happen largely unnoticed. Over 50 a day.

Fact of the matter is that gun violence occurs less often in states with stricter gun laws and if REPUBLICANS were not blocking sensible gun laws at the federal level, we could lessen ALL GUN VIOLENCE across the United States because stricter gun laws DO prevent more gun violence.

People.

About 10 million more than the state next closest in population.

10 million people is more than the populations of about 40 states.

Clearly you weren't looking at per capita gun violence, now were you?

California has one of the lowest gun death rates in the nation: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/firearm_mortality/firearm.htm

I would I assume that since you are on this website, you were simply uninformed and mistakenly using Republican talking points, so consider yourself informed on the subject now.

Think of the next several hundred dead or severely-wounded schoolchildren and school staff.

Might as well think about the foreseeable future. It doesn't appear that there's any genuine national will to do what's necessary to make this madness stop.
