(5,117 posts)and he shall be known as The Prince of Peace like a well-armed welcoming party. Hello Baby Jesus. Wonder if they line up little soldiers with munitions around the family nativity scene. Good grief.

(64,028 posts)It's a beautiful area. Big, classic Presbyterian church, perhaps gothic revival in architecture. Established neighborhoods around it, expensive homes.

(4,551 posts)These parents really should be ashamed. My poor son had to build guns out of his fingers or legos much to my dismay. My heart goes out to the people who were killed and hurt today. It simply breaks.

Hubs, "they're batshit down there. Yet, we're moving back." Those mountains, the Smokies, are just too beautiful and hubby longs to regularly hike those trails again.
Btw, Smith & Wesson is building a new plant in Blount County, Tennessee. Yay! More guns.

And perhaps this should be resent to the victims showing how well regulated his family is.

(1,837 posts)The retail cost of those weapons shelled out (from the taxpayers!) so his family could show their ammossexuality might almost cover a year's poverty wage of some American Family or almost feed one for a year or help pay some medical bills of one or provide a winter's heating and electric bill.
I"m sure he won't lose on wink of sleep tonight knowing he's made his family safe from an American or immigrant poverty level family that might use their guns to threaten him...oh, wait...they can't afford guns.
Maybe he and his ilk could send a bill to the legislature to provide guns FREE OF CHARGE to poor families.
THAT...he could do! Help them out with bills? Not in their lifetime!
The American Republican Way!

(28,469 posts) The AR in "AR-15" rifle stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in. the 1950s. "AR" does NOT stand for "assault rifle" or "automatic rifle."

It just seems to me that an unsolicited mailing like that could be a threat.

I look at these guns and they look like evil things. All the lead from the those bullets probably lower their IQs.
What a horrible individual to subject his children into taking this insane picture.

(10,108 posts)Would you mind posting the information you have on Andy Ogles' resume?
I don't consider George Santos as someone who "embellished" his resume. I know that how's it's often framed. He a total liar.
If you can post information about Andy Ogle lies, I'd like to see it.
Thanks....

(8,982 posts)An investigation from local news outlet NewsChannel 5 revealed several holes in Ogles' personal life story after he claimed to be an economist during the House speaker vote last month.
"Yeah, you know, I'm an economist," Ogles said in a C-SPAN interview. When he was asked later which committees he wanted to be assigned to, Ogles started by saying, "So, I'm an economist."
He then told the TV show Washington Watch later in January, once again, "I'm an economist. I worked in economics. I worked in health care."
Ogles's claims of economic expertise began during his campaign for Congress. During a Wilson County GOP debate, he began one of his answers by saying, "You know, as an economist..." He then used the exact same phrase in his first meeting on the House Financial Services Committee.
