on the steps of Congress, my angry, frustrated, and heartsick brain had an idea. Somebody could fund a project whereby we count how many children have died just in school shootings since, and including, Columbine. Then we send that many little dolls, covered in red paint, in little caskets, to each and every republican representative and senator.
Now, I know that such packages would never get delivered. I was thinking of the "Eyes Wide Shut" installations, the boots representing our military dead in Iraq. Is there some place near the Capitol where such a display could be set up?

Nothing seems to work to get people to understand that these weapons should be banned.

Or is this sign elsewhere?
