1. Apparently
There is an extreme lack of "Good people" that are willing to speak out.
At least in government... |

2. Republicans aren't good people, though.
They've spent the last 40ish years making sure of that, starting when they relabeled Politeness as "Political Correctness" and framed it as a bad thing.

3. I know,was brought up to believe, least you can do is have consideration for other people's feelings
All these Republicans constantly complaining about the lack of civilization, why does nobody ask them what they are doing to make this country more civilized. I keep thinking of Woodstock where we knew there was no law-enforcement, and the slightest altercation could set off the tinder box. We were polite and considerate of each other. It’s the only way it would have worked. It’s the only way it ever works in a civilized society

4. church schools are protected by God?
public schools are open season.
I appreciate that moving beyond tots and pears but if Sandy Hook did move the gun nutz to change course... Nashville won't even make them lose any sleep. |

5. I suspected that there was a secret belief among private parochial schools that they were immune to
this kind of heinous event because they were protected by God.
A tragic irony if this gun toting ex-student felt abandoned by her earlier Christian indoctrination because of the current politically driven Christian attacks on the LGBTQ community. |

10. Hey, dude, when babies die in any shooting it is beyond time for thoughts and prayers. Period
How many of those lawmakers have you personally told that it is beyond thoughts and prayers time
and time and time for reasonable gun control. |

he'd have been sacked on the spot.

15. I guess it did not count when the babies at Sandy Hook died.
Maybe if he had spoken up then he might have persuaded some of those "good Christian" lawmakers to vote for gun control and the kids at the Christian school would still be alive today.
