Senate Chaplain Barry Black's opening prayer:

"Lord, when babies die at a church school, it is time for us to move beyond thoughts and prayers. Remind our lawmakers of the words of ... Edmund Burke: 'All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.'"

It's clear that the deity is either evil, impotent or doesn't actually exist. I know which choice I think is the most likely -- #3. And more and more Americans are coming to the same conclusion.

…and punitive, just like them. I don’t care what they call him — but Moloch might be better than Jesus because it would avoid confusion with Jimmy Carter’s Jesus.

But, apparently not.

So let me say bluntly what he could not because of him being a person with a clean mouth: “Get off your asses and stop the slaughter of the innocents, regardless of their or your race, creed, or color. And f*ck you all sideways if you fail to take meaningful action.”

By the way, who saw Ogles’ response to reporters’ queries about his unholy Christmas card?

He has no regrets because it was him with his family. And also, the reason the US has all these massacres and no other country does, is because we have so much freedom. And it’s too bad about the slaughter of innocents, but that is the price we pay for freedom.

May Ogles get everything he deserves.

It's just too bad he was talking to people who were incapable of hearing him, because they have brains the size of walnuts and hearts the size of raisins.
