1. The GOP always does that right after a mass shooting.

2. This law was racist when written.

It literally was going to your sheriff and requesting a permit to buy. The sheriff could refuse for any reasons, but it was written so POC could not get guns. Its time for any law written for racist reasons to go away.

You still have do to a background check. Also if you have a concealed carry permit it bypassed the sheriff, and you could just go buy a handgun but still had a background check.

3. The racist roots of gun control being eliminated

Is a good thing. Still plenty of non-racist gun control options available. . We don't have such regulations in California and they apparently were not working in NC.

4. Easily believable.

Really, our inaction has emboldened the GThirdReichP to just double down again and again every time there’s a mass murder. What’s unbelievable, is that the sane members of the center-to-left just sit by and complain. The Nazis are out there brandishing guns at drag shows, wearing gun pins in place of their previous (but now apparently passé) dog whistle flag pins the day after a mass killing, burning books in library parking lots, and forcing children to have babies. They are happy to do more violence every day - yet somehow the same (and apparently passive and gullible) folks out there are still reacting like their behavior is an aberration.

Let’s wake up and realize that they’re all about violence, and until we’re willing to be as crazy aggressive and yes, possibly even violent back in certain narrow circumstances, this nation is hosed.
